Established in 2022, the College of Semiconductor and Advanced Technology Research (CSATR) of NSYSU focuses its curriculum and training on the downstream of the semiconductor industry, including Semiconductor Packaging and Testing, Electronic Components and Innovative Semiconductor Manufacturing. With the support from the local enterprises in Kaohsiung, the College aims to cultivate talents needed for the development of the semiconductor industry in Kaohsiung area and at the national level, and therefore help strengthen Taiwan's leading position in the semiconductor industry. The ten benchmark partner enterprises of CSATR are ASE Group, OSE Ltd., WinWay Technology, YAGEO Corporation, Laser Tek Taiwan Ltd., Thinking Electronic Industrial, TAIFLEX Scientific, FLEXium, E&R Engineering Corporation and TSMC.
