The Gallium Nitride Ecosystem Enabling Centre and Incubator, or GEECI, is a small-volume semiconductor wafer and device production, characterization, and packaging facility located at the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, India. GEECI's vision is to create an ecosystem of startups, established industry organizations, supply chain companies, equipment manufacturers, and academic institutions to cater to the developing markets of GaN wafers and devices in the power electronics, RF communication, and nitride MEMS sectors. The GEECI line includes tools for GaN wafer deposition, device fabrication, comprehensive power and RF device characterization, wafer and device packaging.
